Yes, believe it or not, there are two DO’s. The OG, which is the one you will read about on this website, and another event (which we like to call SIDO) held in the South Island. They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery, and as the OG we certainty feel flattered by our colleagues from Te Waipounamu. Nice one.
SIDO is a different type of tournament from ours, but different is good. Actually from our own experiences of SIDO, different is awesome.

The South Island Devil’s Own is a fun social golfing weekend for lawyers, legal executives and judges, both current and retired, from throughout New Zealand. This year the tournament will be held from 1 to 3 November 2024 at Methven Golf Club (Methven Golf Course).
The focus of the tournament is on attendance, playing enjoyable golf and the after-match social events where you get the opportunity to mingle, and network with fellow legal practitioners and sponsors.
